Equal treatment starstarstarstarstarinfo_outline
Sometimes trans people feel that they would have gotten a better treatment if they would have been cis. How would you describe this visit? Do you feel that the treatment you got was as good as a cis person would have gotten? is what reviewers gave their opinion on.

Non-binary female

Reason for the visit: HRT

She was not too friendly and quite conservative/strict about time periods until one can begin HRT. She didn't accept my therapist's statement. Her knowledge about trans HRT and usual doses were definitely not up to date. Also she was crossing borders in judging my "transness" and general health/diet (I'm somewhat overweight but not badly), both of which were not her assignment. To top all that, more extensive bloodwork and gene testing than necessary was done, but not a genetical analysis about the risk for thrombosis which is quite relevant in MtF HRT. Therefore I wouldn't recommend any trans person to see her, although I've heard good things about other doctors in the same office. The staff was also nice and professional, although I didn't like the fact that they only had gendered toilets.
